If you want to send confirmation email to the subscribers and ask them to confirm their subscription, you must choose “Yes” in the Need to confirm field.

Furthermore, if you allows guests who don’t have account or haven’t logged in to subscribe to the newsletters, please select “Yes” in the last field.

Finally, click on the Save button to complete the newsletter configuration.

Go to admin panel, navigate to MARKETING and tap Newsletter Template under Communications. In the new page, click on Add New Template button.

You have to enter the Template name (to manage in the backend), Template subject (seen by the email receivers), Newsletter sender name and email address.

After that, you can easily edit the content of the template by using the WYSIWYG editor – add text, images, HTML, widget, variables (address, contact, name, …) and so on. It’s worth noting that you should not get rid of the available unsubscription link at the bottom of the template. In many cases, this link is required by law and at the same time, it would show respect to the email openers.

Moreover, it is allowed to customize the email template styles as you want (optional field). Save the template after you complete all settings.


HOW TO SEND NEWSLETTERS IN MAGENTO 2?

After saving the newsletter template, you will be moved back to the Newsletter Templates page. Here, find the template that you want to send in the list, then choose Queue Newsletter in the dropdown of the Action column.

Then, it will turn to the Edit Queue page. Here, you have to choose the Queue Date Start and save the newsletter.

Notes: to access this Newsletter Queue list, you can also go to the admin panel, tap MARKETING, and choose Newsletter Queue under Communications

This Newsletter Queue list will help you to check all newsletters’ status as well as their sending progress.


HOW TO CHECK FOR NEWSLETTERS PROBLEMS?

You must go to the admin panel, tap REPORTS, and choose Newsletter Problem Reports under Marketing. (Admin Panel => REPORTS => Newsletter Problem)

HOW TO MANAGE NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBERS IN MAGENTO 2?

You must go to the admin panel, tap REPORTS, and choose Newsletter Subscribers under Communications(Admin Panel => MARKETING => Newsletter Subscribers)

This page will show all of your newsletter subscribers with their email address, name, status (not activated, subscribed, unsubscribed, unconfirmed). To cancel subscription of any customer, you must check on the box on the first column, then select Unsubscribe in the Action dropdown. Similarly, you can delete any subscribers from the list.

Furthermore, you can export this newsletter subscribers list to CSV/ XML file to serve for other purposes (e.g.: send email marketing through a third party)
