Today, we will continue to give you detailed instructions on how to set up Online payment methods which are Bank Transfer and Purchase Order. Let’s get started!
How To Configure Bank Transfer Payment Method In Magento 2?
- Step 1: Go to admin panel, navigate to STORES and click on Configuration (under Settings)
(Admin panel => STORES => Configuration)
- Step 2: Expand SALES and choose Payment Methods in the dropdown
In the left menu, you must expand the SALES section and click on the Payment Methods field.
- Step 3: Set up bank transfer payment
First, expand the Bank Transfer Payment section to start the configuration.
Second, you must enable this type of payment.
Third, set a title for this payment method which will appear in checkout.
Fourth, choose countries in which the bank transfer payment method is allowed. You can select a specific country or all of them.
Fifth, write detailed instructions for the customers to conduct the transfer. It is suggested to provide information related to bank account name/ number/ routing code and the bank name and address.
Sixth, set min and max order total required to process these payment methods.
Finally, set the display priority for these payment methods on the checkout page. (E.g.: if you set the sort order to 0, the Bank Transfer payment method will appear in the first place)
Click on Save Config to complete all settings.
How To Configure Purchase Order Payment Method In Magento 2?
For those who are unsure about the purchase order payment method: A purchase order is a commercial document issued by a buyer to a seller, indicating products/ services, quantities purchased, and agreed prices, delivery date,… It is used to control the purchasing of products and services from external suppliers. In Magento 2, you can easily configure this type of payment as the following:
- Step 1: Go to admin panel, navigate to STORES and click on Configuration (under Settings)
(Admin panel => STORES => Configuration)
- Step 2: Expand SALES and choose Payment Methods in the dropdown
In the left menu, you must expand the SALES section and click on the Payment Methods field.
- Step 3: Set up Purchase Order payment
First, expand the Purchase Order section to start the configuration.
Second, you must enable this type of payment.
Third, set a title for this payment method which will appear in checkout.
Fourth, choose countries in which these payment methods are allowed. You can select specific countries or all.
Fifth, set min and max order total required to process this payment method.
Finally, set the display priority for these payment methods on the checkout page. (E.g.: if you set the sort order to 0, the Purchase Order payment method will appear in the first place)
Click on Save Config to complete all settings.
